As part of its tour in Malaysia, Medics visited the political advisor to the Malaysian Minister of Health, Dr. Said Azman, to discuss health issues in poor and affected areas and explore ways to cooperate in solving these problems, whether in the therapeutic field, providing medicines and supplies, or in the educational field by sending missions to learn in Malaysian hospitals.
Achievements of the Meeting
The meeting was fruitful and promising, with an agreement reached to arrange programs for training Palestinian doctors (clinical internships) lasting from 6 months to a year. Additionally, discussions began on initiating a government initiative to support the health sector in Gaza. The visit is part of Medics’ pioneering vision to develop health services and provide appropriate medical care to those in need.
